Delivery
Quoted deliveries are always worst case. Most deliveries are made much earlier than the dates quoted, unless "not early" is specified.

Terms and Conditions
Terms are 1% 10 net 30 days, F.O.B. factory at Chatsworth, California. Standard shipping method is UPS Blue or Brown label, prepay and add. In addition to standard terms, Control Sciences accepts all major credit cards. All orders are non-cancelable, non-returnable and are not able to be rescheduled. The use of the abbreviation "CSI" should be avoided on any formal documents. Many other companies call themselves "CSI", which can result in errors and confusion.

Warranty Policy

All units warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for One (1) year from date of shipment. Liability is expressly limited to servicing, adjusting, or replacing any Control Sciences product returned to our factory with delivery charges prepaid. In no case shall our liability exceed the original purchase price of the Control Sciences product. Mishandling or misuse not covered by this policy

Out of Warranty Repair

For all non-warranty repairs, there is a standard deposit which includes a bench-fee to diagnose any failures of the unit. Please note that this deposit will be deducted from the final cost to repair the unit.
Once the initial root-cause analysis is complete, we will email you with the total estimated repair costs.
Repair estimates are based on the cost of parts and hourly labour.

All repairs exclude misuse/mishandling as well as consumables such as bulbs, reflectors, liquids, etc.

Equipment returned or left after repairs are completed and billing is complete for over 90 days will be categorized as donated to the company, Control Sciences, Inc.

Product Returns

Products should be returned to our facility in Chatsworth, California with shipping prepaid. Please use care in packing product and use only anti-static materials. Package should be directed to the attention of the Repair Department after verbal or written authorization has been given by Control Sciences. Paperwork should include a description of the reason for the return along with the name and phone number of a person to be contacted at the returning facility. Please allow up to four weeks for Control Sciences personnel to determine the status of the returned product. Customer will be advised of any charges before repairs are made. A complete report of our findings is included with the product when it is shipped back to the user.

Life Support Systems

Control Sciences products are not authorized for use in life-support devices or life-critical applications without express written authorization from the president of Control Sciences. Life-support or life-critical devices or systems are those which are intended to support, sustain or protect life, and whose failure to perform when properly used in accordance with the instructions provided and the applicable data sheets can be reasonably expected to result in personal injury or death.

Accuracy of Data

Information on all products and services furnished by Control Sciences is believed to be accurate and reliable at time of dissemination. Control Sciences is not responsible for errors which may have occurred in the editing, construction or printing process. Control Sciences reserves the right to make changes to its products and specifications at any time without notice. Control Sciences does not assume any responsibility for the use or application of any of its products.
