SSCT and SSCDX Converters

Control Sciences, Inc. (CSI) is one of the few manufactures still producing solid state control transformers (SSCT) and solid state control differential transmitters (SSCDX). An SSCT simultaneously accepts either a synchro or resolver angle, a parallel binary angle and outputs an AC "rotor" voltage that represents the sine of the difference angle between the two inputs. An SSCDX simultaneously accepts either a synchro or a resolver angle and a parallel binary angle and outputs a synchro or resolver angle that is the difference between the two input angles.
